The Big One

We were at the cottage for Malachi's fifth birthday. The oven didn't work and needed to be replaced so baking a cake was out of the plans. Malachi picked out strawberry shortcake and decided it would be a good idea to eat it for breakfast. Well . . . why not, we're on vacation!

A ferry ride over to Southport . . .

For dinner he chose pizza--which wasn't a shocker. And then we went for ice cream. This is Malachi after a long day celebrating. I think he's pondering his future---or just stretching his stomach out so he can finish that cone.
