stitching

I love free-hand stitching. I guess I just don't have the patience for cross-stitching, plus this provides such freedom. You can stitch anything you want. This is a bread bag I made. The design is based on the book "A Child's Garden of Verses" by Robert Louis Stevenson. I love the illustrations in this version which are done by Alice and Martin Provensen. The bag is a yellow linen.
This is a little elephant pull toy I did to hang above Elijah's crib. So easy and quick!

Why are all my friends so stinkin' creative?!? I'm feeling really inadequate right now. You do great work!
