Lesson #2

Ever since the sheets Amelia has been dying to make a blanket for her doll bed. She had the material picked out for weeks and I finally got around to it. I decided to go for a quilt because she picked out three different fat quarters. I have never even attempted a quilt so I just completely made this up. This is probably about the size I will ever attempt. Well maybe I will do a real one sometime--when I learn how and I have the time!
Amelia loves it. I pieced it all together and she helped sew the square pattern all over it. She kept moving my hands out of the way because she wanted to do it by herself. She isn't ready for that--so I still helped guide her as much as she would allow.
I have the perfect little dolls to make in the plans for Christmas that will love this bed.
