Hopi Rez

We got to spend time on the Hopi Rez while we were in AZ. It was a lot of fun. We got to stay with family and the kids got to play with cousins they've never met. We also got to see three different Kachina dances. One of the dances had around fifty different Kachinas. They were absolutely beautiful! It is something you have to see in person because there are no pictures of Kachinas. We also got to tour parts of the rez that are closed to visitors. It was a really fun experience and I think the kids learned a lot. They had a blast getting to know the Hopi side of the family. Malachi and Kam, who is about a year older, were two peas in a pod.

This is Ta'ha or Uncle. He was teaching the kids how to shoot the bow and arrow. Elijah thought it was the neatest thing ever.

We can't wait to go back and visit again.
